When voices that speak the truth are perceived as revolutionary in a nation, then note that such a nation is existing in perilous and treacherous times.
In such times very many are influenced by the loudest, most frequent and closest brothers voice! …but alas, it should be the truth and only the truth they turn to! The truth anywhere is light!
But be warned, truth is not for everyone! It is only for those who seek it earnestly! The flesh hates it, the ego is always trying to bend it and almost all of the powerful seek to suppresses it!
Remember that the truth is that which conforms to fact or reality in exact accordance with that which is or has been or shall be! Therefore, whatever can be changed by the truth must be changed by the truth!
So all persons must seek the truth and seek to live only in the truth! For it is only the truth that sets or keeps you free!!

You are very right in your analogy. But we must also understand that the truth you are talking about can only come from God. Any attempt not to identify with the true God in seeking the truth is what leads to twisting and manipulation of the real truth. That has put us in the kind of mess we are as a nation.

Well truth is relative it depends on who is telling or selling it, If one is not careful in handling it might just ruin the essence, but there is only one truth no matter what.
The truth… One truth for all? Another complicated subject I am afraid. If we had only one truth it will mean that it has been decided by one person or one group and I may disagree with that… I my country we say something like this: Each is own truth. (and no need to enforce it).
